Leon E. Nagel, 76, of St. Jacob, IL, born Friday, October 10, 1947 in St. Jacob, IL and passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at his home in St. Jacob, IL.

Leon attended St. Jacob United Church of Christ.  He tinkered with small engines, lawn mower engines.  He loved his nieces and nephews and the times they were together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin P. and Hilda L. (nee Payer) Nagel; his sisters, Lillian Gaultney, Elvera Fohne and Arlene Kirsch.

Surviving are his nieces and nephews, Kim (Bob) Bindrim of St. Jacob, IL, Kerry (Deb) Gaultney of Collinsville, IL, Linda (Rick) Huskey of O'Fallon, IL, David (Patti) Fohne of Arlington, TX, Karen (Jay) Godt of Belleville, IL, Barbara (Dale) Scott of Mascoutah, IL, Marilyn Fohne of Belleville, IL, Richard Fohne of O'Fallon, IL, Darwin (Candy) Kirsch of Highland, IL, Cheryl Kirsch of Highland, IL and Jeraline Morgan of Mitchell, IL; many great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and friends.
