Obituary
LaVon Martha Brueggeman, 86, of Troy, IL, born June 8, 1929, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Liberty Village, Maryville, IL.
LaVon was a long time member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Troy, IL,. She was active with the Adult Fellowship group, Quilters and loved singing in the choir. LaVon was member of the Jarvis Township Senior Citizens , loved playing word search and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie H. and Mildred (nee Schmale) Brueggeman; sister, Janet Willimann; and a niece, Cheryl Chandler.
Surviving are her brother, Richard (LaVerne) Brueggeman of Chesterfield, MO, brother-in-law, Dale Willimann; nieces and nephews, Amy (Mike) Schroeter of Troy, IL, Leslie French of Troy, IL, Lyle (Brenda) Willimann, of Troy, IL, Dan (Barb) Brueggeman of MO and Brenda Wilson of Columbia, MO; many great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2015 at Friedens UCC, with Rev. Douglas Seagle officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery, Addieville, IL,
