LaVerne C. Boeshans, 86, of Troy, IL, born August 2, 1934 in New Melle, MO and passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

LaVerne was a faithful long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Troy, IL.. She was a graduate of Francis Howell High School Class of 1951.  She worked for American Telephone and Telegraph ATT and enjoyed photography and spending time with her family.  LaVerne as a young lady won the New Melle County Fair Beauty Pageant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur "Art" J. Boeshans whom she married September 12, 1953 in Cappeln, MO and he passed away on Sept. 8, 2009; and her parents, Charles and Erna (nee Wildschuetz) Kops.

Surviving are her children, Brion (Jan) Boeshans of St. Jacob, IL, Susan (Les) Tiek of Edwardsville, IL and Anne (Curt) Weis of Highland, IL; grandchildren, Cory (Jackie) Boeshans, Rachel (Kyle) Sipes, Ryan (Mindy) Tiek, Ashleigh (Rob) Cornwell, C.J. (Barbie) Weis, Coren (Brian) Simmons, and Cayle (Derek Alldredge; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Blake Boeshans, Ethan, Myron and Emma Tiek, Patton and Lillian Weis, Mason and Austin Sipes, Alaina and Chloe Cornwell, Breckin and Beckett Simmons, Benett and Cruz Alldredge; and her brother, Donald Kops.
