LaVerne Anderson (nee:Mental) 89, born August 13, 1918 in Waterloo, Illinois, passed away October 12, 2007 at Maryville Manor Nursing Home, Maryville, Illinois.
Mrs. Anderson moved from Springfield, Illinois to Troy, Illinois. She was a homemaker in her own home. LaVerne was a member of Troy Baptist Church. She loved her Church and devoted most of her life to the Church.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her son, Gary (Susan) Anderson of Collinsville, Illinois, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by her parents Louis A. and Louise (nee:Bickelhaupt) Mental, her husband Eldon Anderson who passed away January 11, 2000, and her son Jerry Anderson.
VISITATION HOURS: Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home after 5 P.M. on Sunday, October 14, 2007.
FUNERAL SERVICES will be on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 1 P.M. at the Laughlin Funeral Home "Chapel" with Reverend Donald Ploesser officiating. Burial will be at Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Illinois.
