Larry, E. Tessaro, 77, of Maryville, IL, born, Wednesday,  November 8, 1944 in Granite City, IL and passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 in Maryville, IL

Larry worked for many years and was Business Manager with Laborers, Local 474.  He was an Alderman for the City of Troy, worked at Laughlin Ambulance and Funeral Home.  Larry was a fanatic about his vehicles and keeping them detailed.  He enjoyed watching Nascar on Sundays, spending time at the club houses on the rivers and fishing when possible.  He was very patriotic and loved his family and the time they spent together.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan M. (nee Lesicko) Tessaro whom he married February 25, 1972 and she passed away on December 17, 2005; daughter, Tina Riebold; his parents, Mike and Mildred (nee Short) Tessaro; an infant sister, Melanie Tessaro; his brother, Michael Tessaro; brothers-in-law, Jerry Bergbrader and Luther Holst.

Surviving are his daughter, Tracie Armbruster of Hardin, IL; grandchildren, Haylee and Gunner Armbruster, Eric (Courtney) Riebold and Amy (Derrick) Jansen; bonus great-grandchildren, Lianna and Laraina Garrison; his sister, Rose Ann Holst of Collinsville, IL; his companion for many year, Brenda Frey Buckman of Maryville and her family; his nieces, nephews, cousin and many dear friends.

Visitation for Larry will be 5 to 7 pm on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy IL.  Larry requested those attending visitation and services please wear blue jeans, your favorite Nascar t-shirt and a ball cap.

Celebration of his life will be held at 7 pm on Friday at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Jeff Bergbrader officiating.
