Larry N. Bell, MSgt. Retired, 75, of Troy, Ill., born November 1, 1939, in Detroit, Mich., died Friday, February 20, 2015 at his home in Troy, Ill.
Larry retired from the United States Air Force and Army after 22 years of service. He was a life member of Scott VFW Post # 4183 Scott Air Force Base, Ill., American Legion Post # 708 Troy, Ill. He enjoyed working with his hands in electronics and building electronic equipment and carpentry.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Lonnie M. Bell and Chad Q. Bell; parents William C. and Alice M. (nee Biggers) Bell; brothers, James, William and John Bell; sisters, Twyla Evans, Marilyn Pickvet, Louise Sherman and Sharon Stephan.
Surviving are his wife Anita (nee Tegel) Bell of Troy, IL; son, Frederick Bell of Kansas City, KS; sister Darlene (Carl "Leonard") Brozowski of Ramer, Tenn., Marie Bowen Silsbee, TX; mother-in-law, Eloise Tegel of Granite City, Ill; he was a dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill. A VFW service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at Richeson Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Butler officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL.
