LaNora F. Scraper, 97, of Troy, IL, born Wednesday, February 22, 1928, in Sawyerville, IL and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Evercare of Breeze in Breeze, IL.

LaNora attended the Lutheran Church.  She was very proud of being an Air Force wife and member of the American Legion Auxiliary.  She enjoyed playing Bingo and visiting with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. East; her daughter, Laura Peterson; parents, Robert and Ann (nee Ferrie) Purdy; and her brothers, Bobby, Edward and Alfred "Chick" Purdy.

Surviving are her children, Bryan (Dawn) East of Troy, IL and Sharon A. Brown of Mt. Olive, IL; she was a loving grandmother of 5, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

LaNora requested no services at this time, and a private burial service will take place at a later date.
