Kenneth C. "Kenny" Miller Sr., 81, of Highland, Ill., born May 23, 1935, in Donaldson, Ill., died Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.

Kenny attended the Methodist church. He enjoyed watching the races, camping, boating, hunting and fishing, and most of all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth C. Miller Jr.; Grandson, Nathan Miller; parents, Cecil G. and Mildred, nee Wright, Miller; two brothers; and a sister.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Ann, nee Roberts, Miller; children, Robert C. Miller of O'Fallon, Mo., Dale E. (Karen) Miller of Carlyle, Ill., David L. (Donna) Miller of Highland, Ill., James L. "Jimmy" (Jami) Miller of Highland, Ill., and Roberta "Robin" Miller of Highland, Ill.; grandchildren, K.C. (Heather) Miller III, Kevin (Nicole Borders) Miller, Kory (Meredith) Miller, Christina (Ron) Ford, Andrea (Levi) Stearns, Bubs (Ashley) Miller, Brady, Owen, Caleb, Garret, Alyssa, Kierstan, Trey, Zach, Nathan, Megan, Tony, Jennifer, Connor and Braden Miller, and Blake Williams; great-grandchildren, Carter and Taylor Ford, Liam Stearns, Emma, Madison and Haley Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of good friends.
