Kathryn C. Bittle, 70, of Shiloh, IL, born December 31, 1949 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at her home in Shiloh, IL.

Kathryn served her Country faithfully in the United States Air Force.  She enjoyed gardening and caring for stray pets.  She loved her family and was always happy when she was with them.  Kathryn loved her job as a cake artist/decorator and retired after 37 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Pauline C. (nee Day) Hunter.

She is survived by her husband, William Bittle whom she married October 20, 1986; her children' Douglas (Rowan) Rakers of Cibolo, TX, Pamela (David) Toney of Henderson, CO, Shawn (Kathy) Bittle of New Baden, IL, Anya Bittle of Sunrise Beach, MO and Lucian (Garfield) Williams of Osage Beach, MO; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Worden of IL; and her sister, Velvette "Vel" (Gilbert) Boyd of CA.
