Obituary
Karen L. Waller, 64, of Troy, Ill., born Sept. 23, 1949, in Kennett, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.
Karen was a member of Pentecostals of Troy Church where she was the coordinator of the Senior Ministry Program. She so loved her church and church family. She was a master story teller, a prankster at heart, loved cooking and was always full of life. Karen most of all loved the time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Waller; and her parents, Obal and Nora, nee Aliston, Sanders.
Surviving are her daughters, Sandra (Andy) Eldridge of Troy, Ill., and Kenya (Chet) Helderman of Troy, Ill.; grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle and Cameron Eldridge and Kenlee and Riley Helderman; a brother, Calvin (Betty) Sanders of Rockford, Ill.; and her sister, Shirley (Joe) Steed of Campbell, Mo.
Memorials may be made to Pentecostals of Troy Church.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at the funeral home with Rev. Brian Bradshaw officiating. Burial will be at 11 am Monday, Aug. 5, 2013 at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Newport, Ark.
