Obituary
Joyce Elaine Sparks, age 42, of Troy, Illinois died April 7, 2010 at her home with family by her side. Joyce was married to Greg Sparks and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Sparks was born May 22, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri to Clinton and Joyce (Mathis) Hurley of Collinsville, Illinois.
In addition to her husband and parents, Joyce is survived by her son, Chad Sparks of Troy, IL.; daughter, Astasha Kane (Cody) of Fort Knox, KY.; brother, Woody Hurley (Delinda) of Mt. Olive, IL.; sisters, Rhonda Smith (Don) of Troy, IL., Shawnda Stabile (Jason) of Troy, IL., and Vonna Leiner (Al) of Troy, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 12, 2010 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.
The funeral service will be conducted Monday, April 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Habermehl officiating.
Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
