Obituary
Joyce A. Schlemer, nee Rich, 67, of Maryville, Ill., born March 27, 1941, in Beaver Falls, Pa., died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at her home.
Mrs. Schlemer owned a clothing store in Kimberling City, Mo. She was a member of Troy United Methodist Church in Troy, Ill., Beta Sigma Phi, the Red Hat Society and Card Club Group.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Richard Rich and Mildred Lois, nee Flasher, Rich.
Surviving are her husband, Melvin J. Schlemer of Maryville, Ill.; her sons, Mark (Shawn) Schlemer of Troy, Ill., and Rodney Schlemer of Fairmont City, Ill.; her daughters, Sonya (Jerry Vinteicher) Angel of Branson, Mo., Denise Underwood of Ozark, Mo., and Carma (Les) Agne of Glen Carbon, Mo.; her sisters, Sandy (Dave) Horinka of Beaver Falls, Pa., and Joann (Sonny) Adams of Salem, Ohio; and ten grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Troy United Methodist Church, Troy, Ill. or Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1332 North Halsted Street, Suite 201, Chicago, Ill, 60622.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Troy United Methodist Church in Troy, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at the church with the Rev. Dennis Price officiating. Burial will be in Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Mo.
