Joyce Gosney

Joyce Janet Gosney , 69, of Glen Carbon, Ill., born Dec. 3, 1944, in Highland, Ill., passed away Monday, March 10, 2014, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

Joyce loved her children and grandchildren doing things with them and for them.  She enjo yed cooking, dancing, crime shows, but most of all she loved travel and the time she spent in Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Zdenka Rose, nee Fiala , Foucek ; sister, Joanne Foucek ; son-in-law, Bobby Shusta ; and brother-in-law, Carl Gause .

Surviving are her children, Joyce Shusta of University City, Mo., and Justin (Jennifer Cary) Gosney of Belleville, Ill.; grandchildren, Coral Zea Shusta and Colten Gosney ; and her sister, Doris Gause of E d wardsville, Ill.

Memorials may be made to Discovery Family Church.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Discovery Family Church, 699 Bluff Road, Hwy 157, Collinsville, Ill. The family wi ll have a luncheon after the service and greet relatives and friends at that time.
