Joy Ann Hurt, 68, of Glen Carbon, IL, born Jan. 12, 1948, in Gainesville, MO, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2016 at her home at the Fountains of Troy.
Joy was a member of Collinsville Church of Christ. She retired from Missouri Gas and Energy, Kansas City, MO. She loved her family and enjoyed the time she spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover L. and Leah M. (nee Harris) Ellis.
Surviving are her daughters, Tami Murdock of Blue Springs, MO and Beth (Shane) Cook of Glen Carbon, IL; grandchildren, Hailey Todd, Kearsten Cook, James and Alex Eliason.
