John D. O'Bryan Jr., of Staunton, Ill., born Dec. 11, 1959, in Owensboro, Ky., died Monday, August 15, 2016, at Barnes Jewish Medical Center, St. Louis, Mo.
John worked many years as a brick mason for JR Masonry, 4 Star Masonry, and Good All Masonry. He also drove over the road trucks for Empire Express. He enjoyed Camping, fishing and gardening, but most of all he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his stepson, Scott Foote; his mother, Joyce F., nee Hamilton, Jarvis; his step-father, Harvey Jarvis; his mother-in-law, Janice Schultz; and a sister, Jackie Lambert.
Surviving are his wife, Gail, nee Schultz, O'Bryan of Staunton, Ill.; his children, Danny O'Bryan of Granite City, Ill., Christopher O'Bryan and Davea Foote both of Staunton, Ill.; his father, John D. (Darlene) O'Bryan Sr. of Highland, Ill.; his brothers, Greg and Jeff (Shelly) O'Bryan both of Owensboro, Ky.; step-sisters, Billie Jo (Tony ) Albers of Germantown, Ill., and Tammy Huggins; father-in-law, Al Schultz of Troy, Ill.; other relatives and many friends.
