John Michael Capstick of St. Jacob IL, formerly of St. Charles, MO passed away

12:16 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024, at HSHS, St. Joseph's Hospital in

Breeze IL, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on Tuesday, June 3, 1941, to Elmer and Bernadine Capstick in St. Louis, MO.

John, worked as a Bowling Machine Mechanic across the St. Louis and

St. Charles areas from his teenage years until he retired in November 2019. He

loved everything about bowling, whether it be bowling on his own, teaching

people about bowling, or just being at the bowling alley. He loved to be around

lots of people. He also loved his family and playing with all the pets.

He was a loving father and grandfather.

John is survived by his loving daughters, Chari (Joe) Williams, Penny Meyers,

Lindsey (Marc) Crawford, stepson Tim (Lisa) Stroot, granddaughters, Jennifer

(Michael) Kronk, Marisa Stroot, Katarina Stroot, Ava Crawford, grandson Marc

(Jillian) Crawford, great grandson Koda Crawford, and family LaRae Capstick,

Sandy (Barry) Teson, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Bernadine and his brothers

Al Capstick and Gene Capstick.

John requested private family services to be held.
