Joann McDonald, 84, of Pocahontas, IL, born Sunday, July 14, 1940, in McLeansboro, IL and passed away on Saturday July 5, 2025, at Highland Health Care in Highland, IL.

Joann was a member of Silver Creek Bible Fellowship Church in Troy, IL.  Joann loved her family and was happiest when she spent time with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. McDonald; her parents, Cyril and Irene (nee McGehee) Malone; a brother and her four sisters.

Surviving are her children, Jeff (Gina) McDonald of Pocahontas, IL and Jodie (Bryan) Fanning of Troy, IL; her grandchildren, Adam (Serena) McDonald, Ben McDonald, Chris Fanning, Dan (Holli) Fanning and Eryn Fanning; great-grandchildren, Nora and Clark McDonald; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
