JoAnn Kemp, 88, of Holiday Shores, IL, born Tuesday, September 15, 1936, in Clinton, KY and she passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in Alhambra, IL.

JoAnn attended Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto, IL.  She loved her family and was always happy to spend time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Jessie M. (nee Ashley) Woodward.

Surviving is her husband, Palmer Kemp; her children, Mark (Marci) Kemp of Troy, IL, Sherry (Doug) Brueck of Pocahontas, IL and Charmaine (Neil) Holmes of Louisville, KY; her grandchildren, Ashley (Michael) Hamilton, Angela Brueck, Tucker Kemp, Ashton and Ella Fish and Samantha Holmes; her great-grandchildren, Julia and Olivia Hamilton, Landen, Lacey and Luke Starks; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation for JoAnn will be 1 to 2 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church, 625 Church Dr, Bethalto, IL 62010.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Saturday, December 14, at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Willard Meyer officiating.  Interment will be at a later time at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
