Joan J. Norton's Obituary
Joan J. Norton, 84, of Troy, Ill., born Oct. 20, 1932 in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab, Caseyville, Ill.
Joan was extremely loved by everyone who met her and she will be missed deeply by her family and all who knew her. She loved the Troy Homecoming, especially when she was able to play bingo and the cake walk. She was a lover of animals especially her cat Odie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles F. and Caroline V., nee Penn, Norton; and her twin sister, Jean V. Norton.
Surviving are her sisters, Charmaine (James) Adair of Troy, Ill. and Carol Ann (Glenn) Baker of Highland, Ill.; niece, Charlene (Thom) Lear of Litchfield, Ariz.; nephew, Christopher J. Adair of Troy, Ill.; great-nephews, Cody J. Adair and Zachary Schaefer; as well as other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2017. With Fr. Kevin Laughery officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
