Joan L. Forte, 81 of Troy, IL, born August 28, 1936 in Maryville, IL passed away peacefully Monday, June 17, 2018 at her home in Troy, IL
Joan was a fun loving soul who enjoyed travel and a great restaurant. She was a member of the Collinsville Auxiliary VFW Post 5691 and "FRIENDS". She loved her family and any time she was able to spend with them.
She was preceded in death by her Husbands, Joseph Kurtak and Vivien "Toots" Forte; parents, John and Margaret (nee Fornero) Vallino; brothers, Eugene and Earl Vallino.
Surviving are her daughters, Cindy (Larry) Wheeler of Troy, IL and Debbie (Johnny) Runyon of Greenville, IL; grandchildren, Jacob (Brittany) Wheeler, Jordan Wheeler, Adam, Aaron and James Runyon; great-grandchildren, Brentley and Lincoln Randall; our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Fr. Paul Habing officiating. Interment in Fairland Cemetery, Maryville, IL.
