Jo Ann Rheinecker, 57, of St. Jacob, Ill., born Nov. 20, 1954, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at her home.

Mrs. Rheinecker was a librarian's assistant at Triad High School. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in St. Jacob, Ill. Jo Ann loved her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Shawn Rheinecker and father, John Krakowiecki.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph Rheinecker Jr., of St. Jacob, Ill.; children, Robin (Andrew Dillon) Rheinecker of St. Jacob, Ill., Renee ( Rheinecker of St. Jacob, Ill., Joseph (Laura) Rheinecker III, of Quincy, Ill., and John (Abby Barton) Rheinecker of Quincy, Ill.; her mother, Mary, nee Harbough Krakowiecki of Millstadt, Ill.; sisters, Elizabeth Augustine of Grandtower, Ill., Jeanie (Richard) Scott of Waterloo, Ill., and Cathy (Paul) Bonde of Millstadt, Ill.; and brothers, John (Patsy) Krakowiecki of Belleville, Ill., and Steve Krakowiecki of Belleville, Ill.

Memorials may be made to a scholarship fund for her children.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, St. Jacob, Ill., and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at St. James Catholic Church, St. Jacob, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at St. James Catholic Church, St. Jacob, Ill., with Father Carlos Bohorquez officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Ill.
