Jewel M. Bettorf, 83, of Glen Carbon, il born May 1, 1943, in Granite City, IL and passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Jewel loved her family and enjoyed the times they spent together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Bettorf whom she married October 23, 1964, in Granite City, IL and he passed away March 13, 2026, and her son, Wade A. Bettorf.

Surviving are her children, Penny Bettorf of Glen Carbon, IL and John (Wendy) Bettorf of Troy, IL; daughter-in-law, Frankie Bettorf; grandchildren, Melissa Cavaglia, Laura Laupp, Brittany and Ava Bettorf; her brother, Eddie (Earlene) Lee of Mitchell, IL; sisters, Doris Burton of Mitchell, IL, Kathy Merz of Granite City, IL and Karen Sue Newingham of Puyallup, Washington; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
