Mrs. Jetty "Snook" Lorean Clenney, (nee:Driskill), 84, born July 4, 1921, in Batesville, Arkansas, died September 2, 2005 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Illinois.
Mrs. Clenney moved from Gorham, Illinois to Troy, Illinois in 1950. She was a retired homemaker.
Mrs. Clenney is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd F. and Hattie (nee:Terrel) Driskill, her husband, Velo Clenney who died March 15, 1999. two brothers, Roman and Jack Driskill, and two sisters, Mrs. Olean Seymore and Mrs. Nellie Moyer.
Mrs. Clenney is survived by one son, Troy (Peggy) Clenney of Dallas, Texas, two daughters, Mrs. Bernice (Bill) Gum of Edwardsville, Illinois, Mrs. Marsha (Bob) Semanisin of Troy, Illinois, one brother, James "Pete" (Ida Jo) Driskill of Steel, Missouri, nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation:Friends may call from 5 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2005. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 7, 2005 from Greater Glory Family Worship Church on 97 Oaklawn in Glen Carbon, Illinois with Rev. Sandy Schoeber officiating. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Illinois. Memorials are to the Greater Glory Family Worship Church of Glen Carbon.
