Jesse Foley
Jesse Charles Foley, 80, of Troy, Ill., born Jan. 15, 1927, in Collinsville, Ill., died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Mr. Foley was a retired steel worker at Granite City Steel. He was a member of American Legion Post 708 in Troy, Ill., and Local 67 Steel Workers Union.
Jesse was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Foley Jr., and his mother, Martha, nee Johnson, Foley.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly, nee Atwood, Foley of Troy, Ill.; two sons, Perry (Becky) Conour of Troy, Ill, and Franklin (Donna) Conour Jr., of Bonne Terre, Mo.; 15 grandchildren, Amanda Walch, Tony Walch, Joshua Rials, Anna Louise Petigo, Franklin Conour III, Jaime Smith, Nicholas Dean Conour, Jesse Conour, Jared Conour, Nicole Richardson and Brandy Lee Richardson; and four great-grandchildren, Joey Walch, Trinity Conour, Corey and Aubrey.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Funeral Service were held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at Laughlin Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Moore officiating. Interment was in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill.
