Obituary
Jean E. Stubbs, 79, of Troy, IL, born March 30, 1934, in Caribou, ME, died on Saturday, September 1, 2013 in Glen Carbon, IL.
Mrs. Stubbs was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Presque Isle, ME.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Ronald E. Stubbs, parents Harry and Ophelia (nee True) Dempster, son Kenneth "Kenny" Hayes Jr. brothers Kenneth and Merle Dempster and a sister Betty White.
Surviving are her daughters, Judy (Dan) Beals of Troy, Il and Linda (Hazen) Sewell of New Brunswick, Canada, 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, sisters Lois "Nettie" Browning and Carol "Avis" Clark and a brother Anthony "Tony" Dempster.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 pm on Sunday,September 15, 2013 at the Evergreen Cemetery.
