Obituary
Jason Scott Porter, 38, of Troy, Ill., born Feb. 26, 1978, in Maryville, Ill., passed away June 8, 2016, at his home.
Jason was a loving son, brother and uncle. He loved being a real kid at heart and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jacob Porter.
Surviving are his mother, Donna J., nee Cook, (Robert L. Jr.) McCallister of Troy, Ill.; his father, Michael Porter of Kokomo, Ind.; brothers, Daniel (Candice) Porter of Troy, Ill., and Robert "Bobby" (Stephany) McCallister III of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters, Shanon Porter of Pacific, Mo., and Lindsay (Corey) Crist of Hendersonville, Tenn., Sarah Dodson and Amanda Porter both of Nashville, Ind.; and 19 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the funeral home with Rev. Sean D. Holloway officiating. Burial will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, Ill.
