Janette S. Fox, 103, of St. Jacob, IL, born Thursday, May 12, 1921 in St. Jacob, IL and passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2024 in Highland, IL.

Janette faithfully attended and supported St. Jacob United Methodist Church in St. Jacob, IL.  She was a huge supporter of many Children's charities, St. Jude's Hospital, Children's Hospital in St. Louis, and many Veterans organizations.  She loved to play bingo and enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family.  She was a member of the St. Jacob Lions and supported Camp Lions for hearing and vision impaired students.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. "Jack" Fox whom she married April 8, 1949 in St. Jacob, IL and he passed away July 29, 2005; her parents, John and Susan (nee Gross) Aebischer; brothers, Phil, Louis and John  Aebischer; her sisters Ella Mae Fowler and Gladys Young.

Surviving are her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and great-great-great-nieces and nephews which she enjoyed spending time with; and many dear friends and bingo buddies.

Visitation for Janette will be 11 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at St. Jacob Methodist Church, 407 Jacob St., St. Jacob, IL

Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Wednesday, June 19 at St. Jacob Methodist Church, St. Jacob, IL with Rev. Dan Perry officiating.  Interment will be in Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, IL.
