Obituary
Janet Allene Hampton, age 58, of Troy, Illinois, passed into eternal life on Friday, February 29, 2008 at her residence. She was formerly of Rush Springs, Oklahoma where she was born September 25, 1949.
Janet was retired from Oklahoma Blood Institute where she worked as an accountant for over 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gregory Edward Hampton.
Janet is survived by her parents Morris Allen and Dora Maxine (nee Duncan) Nichols of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; children, Lisa (Keith) Hunt of Troy, IL, Robert (Cyndi) McAfee of Seal Rock, Oklahoma, Kyle A. Becker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Ryanne (Joe) Seay of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Eight grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan and Andrew Bryan, Robert Jr., Cecelia, Aidan and Evan McAfee and Riley Paige Caputi. Three brothers, Jimmy (Rosemary) Nichols of Velma, Oklahoma, Rodney Nichols of Altus, Oklahoma and Gary (Pam) Nichols of Ratliff City, Oklahoma and one sister, Linda (Butch) Long of Tishamingo, Oklahoma
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Memory of Janet.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Calloway, Smith and Cobb Funeral Home in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. Family will greet friends from 10:00 am to service time at the funeral home.
