James Jay Spencer, 54, of Collinsville, IL, born Saturday, December 7, 1968 in Pontiac, MI and passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

James was an avid sports fan always ready to watch his favorite teams, St. Louis Cardinals and the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders. He enjoyed playing baseball and never turned down an opportunity to shoot pool.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J. B. and Jennie (nee Mathews) Willingham.

Surviving are his daughters, Brittany and Samantha Spencer of CA; grandchildren, Keely, Kaley, Michael, Riot and Hailey; sisters, Amy (Neal) Spencer-Madril of Casper, WY and Ashley Spencer of FL; his cousin, Dale (Beth) Myers of Collinsville, IL; and his father, Jim Spencer
