James Fletcher "Jimmy" Finney, 80, of Troy, Ill., born April 4, 1932, in St. Louis, Mo., died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Finney served in the United States Marine Corp. and was a member of the Teamsters Local 600.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Fletcher and Anna Mae, nee Godt, Finney Sr.; and sisters, Jeannie and Helen.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra S., nee Tyberendt, Finney, whom he married on Sept. 3, 1955, in St. Louis, Mo.; three daughters, Teri Lynn (William) Neighbors-Finney, Christy Ann (James) Clines-Finney and Pamela Sue (Matthew) Prestinizi-Finney all for Troy, Ill.; 13 grandchildren,Jeff, Chris and Jason Hall, Justin, Brandon and Krystal Lampe, Dane and Lea Prestininzi, Jeremy, Danyelle, Derek, Tosha and Brianna Clines; 18 great-grandchildren Paighton Hall, Brandon and Brent Probst, Hunter, Killion and Talon Lampe, Jeremiah Clines, Robert,Chloe and Ashlynn King, Jordon and Leann Clines, Taleena Kirkwood, Scott Garner Jr., Darnell Williams, Austin, Dakota and Jaxxon Hall; a brother, William Finney; and sister, Betty Seymore, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the funeral home with Rev. Charles West officiating. Burial with full military honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
