Jackie D. Heil, 80, of Caseyville, IL, born August 26, 1937 in Belleville, IL, passed away on Wednesday August 15, 2018 at his home in Caseyville, IL.
Jackie was an avid Cardinals baseball fan. He loved to go mushroom hunting, play cards and was hard to beat at a good game of chess. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Benay (nee Johnson) Heil; parents, Wilfred W. and Lela (nee Burgadine) Heil; and a brother, Jimmie Lee Heil.
Surviving are his three sons, James (Tammy) Heil of Highland, IL, Christian (Leah) Heil of O'Fallon, IL, and Daniel Heil of West Palm Beach, FL; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Jacob, Jonah, Timothy, Bethany and Trinity Heil; brother, Jerry (Ruth) Heil of Freeburg, IL; and her sisters, Eve Allen of Troy, IL, and Marilyn (Horace) Stegall of Granite City, IL.
