Isabelle Ackerman, 90, of Troy, Ill., born May 17, 1926, in Patterson, N.J., died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at Liberty Village, Maryville, Ill.

Isabelle was a faithful long-time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She and husband, Bill, owned and operated Tasty-Treat in Troy, Ill. She enjoyed the Christmas season, loved shopping, travel, and she loved her family and the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Ackerman; parents, David and Maude, nee Goudsward, Smith; and a brother, John Smith.

Surviving are her children, Nancy (Bud) Klaustermeier of Troy, Ill., and Bill (Carol) Ackerman of Troy, Ill.; grandchildren, Beth Klaustermeier, Curt Klaustermeier and Jane Ackerman; and great-grandchildren, Austin and Abbey Counts and Clayton Klaustermeier.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Mitchel Schuessler officiating. Burial in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Troy, Ill.
