Ila Jean Ball, 87, of Troy, born December 19, 1929 in Hugoton, KS,  passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab Center.

Jean retired as a Data Entry Clerk for Killark Electric.

Surviving are her children, Stephen (Karen L.) Pattison of Edwardsville, Ginger Williams of Maryville, Candy Lyons of Ashland, Jacqueline Hoff of Florissant, Bernard Ball Jr. of Ashville, North Carolina and George Tucker of Arizona ; grandchildren, Dawn (Larry) Determan, Patrick Pattison, Candice Herin, Angela Barr, Amber (Ken) Barstow, Nicole McGinnis and Crystal Morevec and Liberty Ball; 18 great-grandchildren and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Catherine Williams, and Ian Garreau; and parents Homer and Gladys (nee Near) Pierce.

Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on December 2 at Richeson Funeral Home in Troy.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on December 2 at the funeral home, with Rev. Charles West officiating.

Interment will be at St. James Cemetery in Edwardsville.
