Howard James Hillard, 67, of Troy, IL, born Sunday, January 6, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH and passed away at his home in Troy, IL on Friday, November 1, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

Howard loved his family especially his grandchildren. He was the go to person when you needed something fixed. He was a retired auto mechanic and loved animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Colleen (nee Vearil) Hillard; a brother, Donald Hillard.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years Connie (nee Wright) Hillard; his son, James (Nicole) Hillard of Troy, IL and a daughter, Tricia (John Orr) Hillard of Pierron, IL; grandchildren, Madeline, Ali, And William Hillard and Jenee Johnson; sister, Ginny (Bob) Holden of Norman, OK
