Helene C. Kilpatrick, 99, of Troy, IL, born Wednesday, January 28,1925 in Bochum Wattenscheid Germany and passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Aspen Creek in Troy, IL.

Helene was a faithful member of St. Jerome Catholic church in Troy, IL.  She was active volunteer with Jarvis Township Senior Center, Anderson Hospital, Meals of Wheels and the Madison County Home Extension.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kilpatrick, her daughter, Charlene Stokes; step-daughter, Shiela Conrad; parents, Joseph and Maria (nee Multhaup) Henke; and her 2 brothers, Heiner and Joseph; and her two sisters Maria and Antonia.

Surviving her granddaughter, Crystal (Lance) Stokes-Jackson, Stephanie (Kyle) Cline and Julie (Jake) Minola; great-grandchildren, Makensie Budnicki, Makayla Hays, Marinna Jackson, Cali Jo Cline and Kaia Minola; and many dear friends.

Visitation for Helene will be held 9 to 10 am on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at St. Jerome Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Laughery officiating.  Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
