Obituary
Harold Earl Hoenig, 73, of St. Jacob, Ill., born Feb. 6, 1941, in St. Jacob, Ill., died Monday, January 5, 2015.
Harold was a member of St. Jacob UCC in St. Jacob, Ill. He loved his family and will be missed by all. Harold served his country proudly in the United States Army, and was a graduate of the class of 1958, St. Jacob High School. He also enjoyed playing bingo on Saturday evening at the Lions Bingo Night in St. Jacob.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Sr., and Lena, nee Dutton, Hoenig; and two brothers, Leroy Hoenig Jr. and Leon Hoenig.
Surviving are his wife, Melba Hoenig, of St. Jacob, Ill; two children, Cheri Hoenig and Ginger (William) Dewitt, of St. Jacob; and two brothers, Robert (Mary) Hoenig of Wingo, Ky., and Charles (Grace) Hoenig of Greenville, Ill. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015, and 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2015, at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, St. Jacob, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2015, at the funeral home, with Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery, St. Jacob, Ill.
