Obituary
Gonzalo Martin, 74, of St. Jacob, IL, born October 26, 1941 in Madrid, Spain, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Lebanon Care Center, Lebanon, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gonzalo Martin Salado and Conception Redondo Varo; father and mother-in-law, Julius "Stogy" and Eliza (nee Kinsley) Stogsdill; brother-in-laws, Jim Stogsdill, Joseph Bergman and Warren Turner.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara (nee Stogsdill) Martin whom he married in Gibraltar in 1966; daughter, Desiree (Steve) Jellen of Edwardsville, IL; son, Michael Martin of Troy, IL; grand-daughter, Hannah Jellen; brothers, Salvador (Lucia) Martin and Jose Martin; sister-in-laws, Mary Lou Bergman of Raymond, IL, Betty Turner of Highland, IL and Ann Stogsdill of Troy, IL; nephew, Israel (Mary Carmen) Martin; niece, Esther (Pablo) Martin both of Spain; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Research at Mayo Clinic, 200 First Street SW, Rochester, MN, 55905, any memory research program or charity of donors choice. Online expressions of sympathy may be made at www.Richesonfh.com
