Glenn Zobrist, 92, of St. Jacob, Ill., born Nov. 13, 1923, in Highland, Ill., passed away Feb. 25, 2016, at Faith Country Side, Highland, Ill.
Glenn was a farmer, livestock dealer, dairy farmer and an avid fisherman. He loved his family, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian E., nee Weder, Zobrist whom he married on Jan. 26, 1946, and who passed away Jan. 20, 2016; son, Rick Zobrist; grandson, Paul Ryan Holman; great-grandson, Christopher Stone; grandson-in-law, Brian Stone; parents, Oscar and Emilie, nee Schuepbach, Zobrist; brothers, Milton, Meryl and Allen Zobrist; sisters, Florence Antenen, Lucille Winet, Evelyn Weidner, Shirley Schrumpf and Annette Zobrist.
Surviving are his children, Jo Ann (Larry) Holman of Highland, Ill., and Duane (Debbie) Zobrist of St. Jacob, Ill.; grandchildren, Patty Stone, Shelly (Andy) Steinwagner, Billy (Brandy) Holman, Dawn (Steve Mersinger) Zobrist, Keith (Dana) Zobrist, Kristy (Daniel) Patterson, and Darik (Carla) Zobrist; great-grandchildren, Haylee Petchulat, Lillian Zobrist, Dalton Mersinger, Danielle Pigg-Stone, Katie and Cory Stein-wagner, Maveric and Jace Holman, Holly and Morgan Zobrist, Clayton Pritchett, Cody and Leah Patterson; and great-great-grandson, Cameron Christopher Pigg-Stone.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at St. Jacob United Church of Christ, St. Jacob, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at St. Jacob United Church of Christ with Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating. Burial will be in Highland City Cemetery, Highland, Ill.
