Obituary

Giordan E. "Bud" Erspamer, 90, of Edwardsville, Ill., born Feb. 15, 1926, in Edwardsville, Ill., died Saturday, February 20, 2016, in Troy, Ill.

Bud was a member of the Catholic Church, Knights of Columbia Council 1143, Edwardsville, Ill.; Regional Director and Board Member of Edwardsville Chapter of the Illinois Wildlife Federation. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a life member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Bud was also very active in the past as a Scout Master, serving several different Boy Scout troops in the area. He enjoyed his Friday afternoon lunches and visiting at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Edwardsville, Ill., spending time at the Main Street Community Center in Edwardsville, and being a part of the Romeos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marco Giordan and Ida, nee Bradley, Erspamer; and two sisters, Matilda "Tillie" Nagel, and Mary Agles.

Surviving are his children, Dale G. (Mona Callis) Erspamer of Troy, Ill., Greg S. (Linda K.) Erspamer of Edwardsville, Ill., and Linda M. (Michael) Trebing of Wayne, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and 15-great-grandchildren.

Visitation from 1 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27 at the funeral home.
