George A. Crow, age 69, passed away Friday, January 2, 2004 at Maryville Manor in Maryville, Illinois. Mr. Crow was born May 16, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri, to George, Sr., and Anna M. Ruchalski. He married Carolyn Berghold on October 16, 1954 at Holy Trinity Church in St. Louis, Missouri. She survives. They have lived in Troy since 1998. Mr. Crow was a plumber for Local #35.

Along with his wife, Carolyn, he is also survived by two sons, George R. (Robin) Crow of Edwardsville, Illinois and Michael J. (Jen) Crow of Lafayette, Colorado; 2 daughters, Ruth M. Crow of Maryville, Illinois and Elizabeth M. (Paul) Reinken of Pacific, Missouri; one sister, Justine Crow of Florissant, Missouri; four grandchildren, Mary, Sam, Carson, and Madison; and one great grandchild, Daphne. HE was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Raymond A. Crow, Sr.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 am, Monday, January 5, 2004 at St. Jerome Catholic Church with Father Steven Janoski officiating.

Visitation: Friends may call after 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 4, 2004 at Laughlin Funeral Home and after 9:00 am, Monday, January 5, 2004 at St. Jerome Catholic Church.

Memorials may be made in the form of Masses or to the Kidney Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
