Gary P. Liniger, 81, of Troy, IL, born Monday, October 18, 1943, in East St. Louis, IL and passed away peacefully at Eden Village on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Gary retired from Labor Local 44, Collinsville, IL.  He enjoyed Camping, fishing, hunting and the Corvette Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Liniger whom he married June 29, 1963, in Troy, IL and she passed away on September 7, 2016; two sons, Gary S. and Michael P. Liniger; his parents, Floyd and Lucille (nee Lasewell) Liniger; sister, Patty Czeskelba; and his daughter-in-law, Veronica Liniger.

Surviving is his children, Mary Pat (Johnny Kissane) Liniger of Glen Carbon, IL, Matthew Liniger of Troy, IL and Mark Liniger of Granite City, IL; grandchildren, Makayla Linier, Joseph Kissane, Catelynn Liniger, Brooklyn and Josh Davis; his brother Larry Liniger of Belleville, IL; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
