Gary Lee Kaspar Lt. Col. Retired, 65, of Troy, Ill., born Nov. 29, 1945, in Omaha, Neb., died Friday, March 25, 2011, in Troy, Ill.
Mr. Kaspar was Retired Air Force, and drove a school bus
for the Triad School District. Gary was a 32nd Degree Mason who enjoyed watching Nascar, working in his yard, reading, and his Chevrolets.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kristopher Kaspar; parents, Milton and Dorothy, nee Paulsen, Kaspar; and a brother, Bruce Kaspar.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly, nee Carstens, Kaspar of Troy, Ill.; a son, Karl (Diana) Kaspar of Mascoutah, Ill.; daughters, Kathryn (Adam) Garrison of Troy, Ill., and Kimberly (Loren) Kisling of Wright City, Mo.; grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Elizabeth, Karleigh and Leevi Kaspar and Miller Garrison; and a sister-in-law, Gert (Roger) Gammon of Clinton, Iowa.
Memorials may be made to Triad School District in memory of Gary Kaspar or Fisher House at Jefferson Barracks.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., with the Rev. Adam Dichsen officiating. Burial will be held at Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill.
