Gary L. Frutiger, 65 of Breese, IL, born Sunday, January 27, 1957 in Highland, IL and passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in Breese.

Gary was a member of St. Jacob United Church of Christ, St. Jacob, IL.  He retired from the Highland School District after many years of service.  He and Donna enjoyed traveling and taking short day trips with the Troy Senior Center.  He enjoyed his grandchildren and watching them play sports.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar E. and Mildred M. (nee Kirsch) Frutiger; his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy (Jon) Nemnich.

Surviving are his wife, Donna (nee Cwiklowski) Frutiger; daughters, Kristie (Jarrod) Daniel of St. Jacob, IL and Shannon (Jason) Cooper of Alhambra, IL; grandchildren, Kailey and Colin Daniel and Evan and Noah Cooper; his brother, Kenneth (Cathy) Frutiger of St. Jacob, IL; his sister, Diane (Keith) Michael of St. Jacob, IL; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation for Gary will be held 5 to 7 pm on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, St. Jacob, IL.  Interment will be in Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, IL, with Rev. Matt Embry officiating.
