Gail A. Rieger, 65, of Troy, IL, born September 2, 1952 in Belleville, IL passed away Saturday February 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

Gail owned and operated Rita Maries Flower Shop for many years. Those who knew her will know she was a free spirit and hippy at heart, she had an infectious laugh and a bubbly personality. Always ready to shop and loved a good bargain. She was a giving person, ready to help those in need. She loved her children and was always up for an adventure. Success was a house full of her kids and their friends. As Gail would say "Don't worry about the small things".

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin "Butts" and Helen Lee (nee Jokerst) Richter; sister, Sharon Richter.

Surviving are her husband, Ronnie Rieger of Troy, IL; children, Jessie Rieger, Edwardsville, IL, Greg Rieger of Troy, IL and Andy Rieger, Troy, IL; dear aunt cousin and friend to many.
