Obituary
Gail Ann Meier, 50, of Troy, Ill., born Sept. 3, 1960, in Highland, Ill., died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
Gail was branch manager for Bradford National Bank in Marine, Ill. She enjoyed her family, especially attending Sara and Whitney's events at school. She loved her flower garden, reading and taking walks.
Surviving are her husband, Lonnie Meier of Troy, Ill.; daughters, Sara Meier and Whitney Meier of Troy, Ill.; parents, Larry E. and Delores, nee Koelz, Prott of Highland, Ill.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Delmar and Verona Meier of Troy, Ill.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harvey and Jacqueline Meier of Troy, Ill.; and her sister, Sheri (Jim) Eveland of Highland, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the scholarship fund for Sara and Whitney, St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Marine United Church of Christ.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Troy, Ill.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Mitchel Schuessler officiating. Burial will be at Marine Cemetery, Marine, Ill.
