Francis "Frank" Florek, 81, of Troy, IL, born March 25, 1936, in Washington Park, IL, passed away peacefully at his home, Thursday March 1, 2018, surrounded by his family and friends.
Frank graduated from Assumption High School, and went to work for the National Lead Company in Granite City, then Mobil Oil and Sears prior to retirement. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family, going to garage sales, selling at flea markets, dabbling in antiques, and repairing and selling small engine equipment.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia (nee Plantz) Florek Rizzoli; sons, Robert and Francis Florek; parents, Joseph and Josephine (nee Maziarz) Florek; sisters, Clara Towne, Helen Ziaja, and Nell Kovacs; and brother, Leo Florek.
Surviving are his wife, Ann (nee Schrameck) Florek; daughters, Susan (Christopher) Seibel of St. Charles, MO, and Kathleen (Mark) Kalb of Red Wing, MN; sister, Leona Florek of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Luke Seibel, Elliot Seibel, Maria Seibel and Andrew Kalb; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Monday, March 5, 2018, at St. Jerome Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Laughery officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
