Obituary
Frances M. Schanuel, nee Tegtmeier, 85, of Collinsville, Ill., born Nov. 3, 1922, in Collinsville, Ill., died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at Maryville Manor, Maryville, Ill.
Mrs. Schanuel worked at the First National Bank of Collinsville for more than 30 years and the Missouri Lutheran Synod Offices. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Troy, Ill., the Helping Hands at the church and Books for the Blind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Augusta, nee Langreder, Tegtmeier; a brother, William Tegtmeier Jr.; and two sisters, Florence Hellmich and Wilma Kelley.
Surviving are her husband, William H. Schanuel of Collinsville, Ill.; her brother, Bert (Rose) Tegtmeier of Troy, Ill., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery or St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Troy, Ill.
Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Laughlin Funeral Home in Troy, Ill., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Troy, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at the church with the Rev. James Gullen officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Maryville, Ill.
