Obituary
Mrs. Florence C. (nee: Ward) Mills, 97, born August 7, 1909 in Collinsville, Illinois, died March 10, 2007 at Maryville Manor Nursing Home, Maryville, Illinois.
Mrs. Mills lived in the Troy-Collinsville area her entire life. She was a member of St. Ann's Episcopal Church, Collinsville, Illinois, Madison County Democratic Club, and American Legion Auxiliary Post #708.
Mrs. Mills is survived by her son William Anthony (Judy) Mills of Alton, Missouri, her daughter Mrs. Mary Ann (Gerald) Grow of Glen Carbon, Illinois, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Mills is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Mary (nee:Herbst) Ward, her husband Walter Mills whom she married on January 27, 1934 and passed away on January 5, 1978, and her daughter Nancy (nee:Mills) Barsch who passed on August 25, 2006.
VISITATION HOURS: Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home after 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 13, 2007.
FUNERAL SERVICES will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 from Laughlin Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Stormer officiating. Interment will be at St. John Evangelical Cemetery, Blackjack, Illinois.
Memorials for Mrs. Mills may be made to the Diabetic Association.
