Van Pelt, Fay Jr. 96, of Oakville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2023. Born on August 27, 1926 in Salisbury, Missouri to Fay Norris and Odie Richardson Van Pelt. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Gale. Loving father of Steven (Cynthia) Van Pelt of Saline, MI, Charles (Rose) Van Pelt of Olive Branch, MS, Terry Kiger of Troy, IL, Keith (Barbara) Van Pelt of Flat Rock, NC and Kevin (Debbie) Van Pelt of Grapevine, TX. Fay was a grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Charles Van Pelt, Martha Fellows and Frank Van Pelt.

Fay spent over 47 years in the baking industry with American Bakeries and Klosterman Baking Company. He will be remembered for his love of family and will be missed by all. A private memorial will be held later to celebrate Fay's life.
