Obituary

Fannie M. Hattemer, nee Allison, 96, of Maryville, Ill., born Feb. 22, 1912, in Pocahontas, Ark., died Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

Mrs. Hattemer was a clerk at Acme Premium Supply Company in St. Louis, Mo. In 1977, she had moved to the Troy area from St. Louis, Mo. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Troy, Ill.

Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, James Hattemer; her parents, George W. and Catherine, nee Slayton, Allison; her brothers, Harvey and Shirley Allison; and her sisters, Hassel Lemmons, Gussie and Edna Allison.

Surviving are son, Jimmie (Ruth) Hattemer of Troy, Ill.; her daughters, Nita (Phillip) Cunningham of Fort Worth, Texas and Nancy (Jack) McEntire of Urbana, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Timothy Hattemer, Kathryn Johnson, Jason McEntire, Cynthia McEntire, Jon McEntire, Sara Cunningham and Mary Cunningham; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Marvin (Clemmie) Allison of Memphis, Tenn.
Memorials may be made to Church of Christ, Troy, IL

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at Laughlin~ Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, Ill., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at Church of Christ, 1400 Troy Road, Troy, Ill.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at the church with Terry Maberry officiating. Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill.
